Betty Robinson called the meeting to order and had the following additions to the agenda.

• Region VII Resource Committee Letter

• NHSA Survey

Minutes
Pam LaFrenz moved that the minutes be approved as submitted. Motion carried.

Financial Report
Linda Schaefer presented the financial report. Donna Veatch reported to the Board regarding the projected funding shortfall for this fiscal year. The Resource Development committee did meet today and will have a report. The Executive Committee will be meeting immediately following the Board Meeting to discuss this situation. Mary Nance moved, Rose second that the Executive Committee form an action plan and then submit it to the Board for approval via GoToMeeting at a later date. Rose Eichelberger moved to approve the treasure’s report, Mary Nance second. Motion carried.

Partner Reports: none at this time

Donna Veatch presented the Executive Directors Report (*)

• Business Membership Drive in November

• Regional Resource Development Committee/Letter: non-competition, generate revenue that will support all 4 states. Will require Board Action if MHSA wants to participate in this effort.

Concerns:

• Evening meetings for September

• Region VII Reps need to report out on financil status of R7

• Recruit Business memberships from hotels and others the Association does business with

Rose Eichelberger moved, Mary Nance second to accept the Membership Committee Dues proposal. Motion carried.

Rose Eichelberger moved that the CAA Board position be categorized as an Ad-Hoc member. Hearing no second. Motion dies.

Pam LaFrenz moved, Brad Hicks second, that Donna approach Elaine West, MACA with an invitation to send a representative to the MHSA Board. 8 in favor, 1 opposed. Motion carried.
