  Emergency Guidelines The Missouri Head Start - State Collaboration Office, in partnership with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, Injury and Violence Prevention Program has adapted an emergency guideline health resource for early childhood child care providers. The EMERGENCY GUIDELINES FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAMS are meant to serve as basic "what to do in an emergency" information for providers without medical/nursing education when a health consultant is not available. The guidelines have been created as recommended procedures. It is not the intent of the guidelines to supersede or make invalid any laws or rules established by the child care facility or the state of Missouri.
