The Missouri Head Start Association in partnership with the Missouri Head Start State Collaboration Office is excited to announce the establishment of monthly Director’s calls for 2008. The monthly calls will provide participating director’s an opportunity to network, share resources, hear information regarding current and upcoming initiatives, discuss issues and challenges, etc. As anticipated changes occur over the next several months as a result of the recent reauthorization of Head Start, it is imperative that program directors have a linkage to peers across the state. Each month, a reminder will be sent out via the director’s listserv with call details as well as a targeted topic that will be discussed/ presented. Representatives from partnering entities may be invited to participate depending on the topic to be discussed. The call agenda will include time for input from those on the call regarding pertinent issues, etc.
